At Tristar, Safety is our Foundation and Everyone's Responsibility
To All Tristar Employees, Clients, Partners and Contractors
Welcome to Tristar - Port of Guyana
Safety is more than a priority to me and the top management team; it is a deeply embedded value in who we are and how we operate. We want to make sure you return safely to your families each day.
Our commitment to protect people, preserve the environment and ensure that every task is executed with discipline and responsibility must be embedded in everything we do.
This is why we insist on creating an environment where safe behavior is the expectation, we can only succeed when we look out for one another.
Tristar Port represents a major development for Guyana and with it comes a shared duty: to always perform at the highest level. Safety is not achieved through policies alone; it is achieved through our actions, our communication and our willingness to intervene when something is not right. We expect every leader, supervisor and team member to treat safety as your personal responsibility.
You have the authority and obligation to stop any work that appears unsafe. Your voice and actions matter. When you're tired, rushed or unsure, we want you to stop and get help. There is never a job so urgent that we cannot take the time to do it safely.
As we embark on this journey together, I ask each of you to embrace our safety culture fully. Follow our procedures diligently, care for one another and uphold the values that define Tristar. Safety is a gift you give to yourself and others.
Work Safe, Perform Safe, Lead Safe
